Back clicks when doing leg raises. When I do leg raises while lying flat on the floor (I know they’re not recommended, because of strain on the back, go figure!). I have a slight clicking or popping sound in my lower back, right around L3, I’d imagine. It’s not painfully, but it’s certainly uncomfortable or off putting.

And then number two is externally rotate your legs so you deactivate your hip flexors and wake up your hips there. Then number 3 is practice.
